I. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE

Ayurveda Pulse invites qualified individuals to apply for voluntary, honorary, and non-remunerative contributor positions. This document outlines the legal framework, eligibility requirements, data collection practices, and terms governing such voluntary associations.

This onboarding process is designed to verify the identity and qualifications of prospective contributors while ensuring full compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act 2000, Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules 2025 (DPDP Rules), and where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679.

Prospective applicants must read this entire document carefully before submitting the application form. Submission of the application constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and legal notices contained herein.

II. NATURE AND SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

A. Voluntary and Honorary Status

All positions offered through this application process are strictly voluntary, honorary, and non-remunerative in nature. The relationship established between accepted contributors and Ayurveda Pulse (Nexorma Group) is one of voluntary collaboration and does not constitute, create, or imply any of the following:

Employer-employee relationship under the Industrial Disputes Act 1947, the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952, the Employees’ State Insurance Act 1948, or any other labor or employment legislation
Contract for service or contract of service under the Indian Contract Act 1872
Partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship
Employment requiring registration under the Shops and Establishments Act or similar state legislation
Entitlement to minimum wages under the Minimum Wages Act 1948
Any form of remuneration, compensation, salary, wages, allowances, benefits, or financial consideration
Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), or gratuity obligations
Leave entitlements, working hour restrictions, or other statutory employment benefits
Notice period requirements or termination compensation
Future employment obligations or expectations

B. Non-Moonlighting (Dual Employment) Clarification

Since all positions are voluntary and entirely non-remunerative, such engagement does not constitute moonlighting, dual employment, or conflicts of interest with any paid employment the contributor may hold elsewhere. Contributors are free to maintain concurrent employment relationships with other entities without restriction, subject to their obligations under such other employment arrangements.

C. Termination Without Cause

Either party may terminate this voluntary association at any time, with or without cause, subject to the following mandatory requirements:

Contributor-Initiated Termination: Contributors must provide mandatory written notice via registered email to [email protected] at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the intended termination date. The notice must include:

Full legal name and contributor ID (if assigned)
Effective date of termination
Acknowledgment of all pending work commitments
Confirmation of return of any confidential materials or platform access credentials

Failure to provide proper notice constitutes material breach of these terms and shall result in: (i) immediate removal of contributor attribution from all published works, (ii) permanent ineligibility for future contributor positions with Ayurveda Pulse or any affiliated entities, (iii) forfeiture of rights to reference published work in professional portfolios, and (iv) potential legal action for any damages, disruption, or losses caused by abrupt or improper departure.

Ayurveda Pulse-Initiated Termination: Ayurveda Pulse reserves the absolute and unconditional right to terminate the relationship immediately and without prior notice, without providing reasons or justification, and via any communication method including email, platform notification, or access revocation. Contributors shall have no right to challenge, appeal, or question such termination decisions.

No termination shall give rise to any claims for compensation, damages, notice pay, or other financial or legal obligations on either party.

III. AVAILABLE CONTRIBUTOR POSITIONS

Ayurveda Pulse seeks voluntary contributors for the following honorary positions:

Editorial and Content Positions:

Editor and Associate Editor
Research Analyst and Scientific Reviewer
Content Writer and Contributing Author
Ayurvedic Content Specialist
Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert

Creative and Technical Positions:

Graphic Designer and Visual Content Creator
Social Media Coordinator and Digital Content Volunteer
Website and Technical Support Volunteer

Administrative and Operational Positions:

Operations Coordinator
Community Engagement Volunteer
Event and Outreach Support

Applicants may indicate their preferred position during the application process. Final role assignment remains at the sole discretion of Ayurveda Pulse editorial management.

IV. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

A. Age and Legal Capacity

All applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or must have attained the age of majority under the laws of their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is higher. Applicants under the age of majority must obtain verifiable parental or guardian consent before submitting an application.

B. Information Accuracy

Applicants must provide accurate, current, complete, and truthful information in all sections of the application form. Provision of false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information shall constitute grounds for immediate rejection of the application or termination of any accepted voluntary association.

C. Qualifications and Skills

Applicants must possess relevant educational qualifications, professional experience, technical skills, or specialized knowledge appropriate to the position for which they are applying. Minimum qualifications vary by position and will be assessed during the review process.

D. Document Availability

Applicants must be able to provide valid government-issued identity documents for verification purposes as specified in Section VI of this document.

V. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT SUBMISSION TERMS

A. Applicability

This section applies to all contributor positions involving content creation, editorial work, research analysis, writing, design, or any form of intellectual output intended for publication on the Ayurveda Pulse platform.

B. Originality and Exclusivity Requirements

All contributors agree to the following content submission standards:

Original Work: All submitted content must be entirely original work created specifically for Ayurveda Pulse and must not have been previously published in any form, medium, or platform, including personal blogs, social media, academic journals, commercial publications, or other websites.

No Simultaneous Submissions: Contributors shall not submit the same content simultaneously to any other publication, platform, or entity. Content under consideration by Ayurveda Pulse must remain exclusive until a final editorial decision has been communicated.

No Prior Publication: Previously published work, regardless of the publication venue or date, is strictly prohibited from submission unless explicit written permission has been granted by Ayurveda Pulse editorial management.

Third-Party Materials: If any submission incorporates images, charts, tables, graphs, quotations, or other materials created by third parties, the contributor must obtain and provide documented written permission for such use prior to submission. Contributors assume full legal responsibility and liability for all third-party materials included in their submissions.

C. Copyright Assignment and Transfer of Rights

Upon acceptance and publication of any submitted content, the contributor hereby irrevocably assigns, transfers, and conveys to Ayurveda Pulse (Nexorma Group) all right, title, and interest in and to such content, including without limitation:

All copyright and related rights under the Copyright Act 1957 (India) and all international copyright conventions and treaties
All moral rights to the extent assignable or waivable under applicable law
All rights of reproduction, distribution, public display, public performance, broadcasting, and communication to the public
All rights of translation, adaptation, modification, abridgment, and creation of derivative works
All digital rights, including rights to digitize, upload, download, transmit, and make available through electronic means
All rights to register copyright in the work in any jurisdiction
All rights to enforce copyright and pursue infringement claims

Ayurveda Pulse becomes the sole and exclusive owner of all published content with full authority to exercise all rights associated with copyright ownership, including the right to sublicense, assign, or transfer such rights to third parties.

D. Limited Non-Commercial Use by Contributors

Contributors may reference their published work for non-commercial purposes, including academic portfolios, curriculum vitae, and professional profiles, provided that:

Full attribution to Ayurveda Pulse is provided as the original publisher
A link to the published article on ayurvedapulse.in is included where feasible
The full text is not republished on any other platform without express written permission
Such use does not suggest endorsement by or affiliation with Ayurveda Pulse beyond the contributor relationship

E. Editorial Authority and Content Review

All submissions are subject to comprehensive editorial review at the sole discretion of Ayurveda Pulse. The editorial team reserves absolute authority to:

Accept, reject, or request revisions to any submission without obligation to provide detailed explanations
Edit, modify, abridge, expand, or otherwise alter submitted content for clarity, accuracy, style, length, or editorial consistency
Determine publication timing, format, presentation, and accompanying materials
Add, remove, or modify titles, headings, images, captions, and other editorial elements
Withdraw or remove published content at any time for any reason

Contributors acknowledge that the final published version may differ substantially from the original submission and agree to accept all editorial decisions as final.

F. Academic Integrity and Misconduct

Ayurveda Pulse maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding academic and professional misconduct. Any submission found to contain plagiarism, fabricated data, falsified research, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other forms of misconduct shall result in:

Immediate rejection of the submission
Termination of the contributor relationship
Retraction of any previously published content by the same contributor
Notification to relevant academic institutions, professional organizations, or regulatory bodies as deemed appropriate
Reservation of all legal rights and remedies available under applicable law

VI. IDENTITY VERIFICATION AND DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS

A. Purpose of Document Collection

Ayurveda Pulse collects identity verification documents solely for the following legitimate purposes:

Verification of applicant identity and legal capacity
Prevention of identity fraud and impersonation
Maintenance of platform integrity and credibility
Compliance with applicable know-your-contributor requirements
Security and safety of the platform and community

All document collection practices comply with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and applicable data protection regulations.

B. Required Documents

All applicants must provide the following documents:

Recent Photograph: Passport-style photograph with clear facial visibility taken within the preceding six months. The photograph must show the applicant’s face clearly without obstruction from headwear, sunglasses, or other items, except where required for religious or medical reasons.

Aadhaar Card (Masked): Copy of Aadhaar card with the first eight digits of the Aadhaar number masked, blurred, or otherwise obscured, showing only the final four digits. This requirement protects applicant privacy while enabling identity verification. Full unmasked Aadhaar numbers must never be submitted.

Alternative Government-Issued Identity Document: One of the following valid government-issued photo identification documents:

Indian Passport
Driving Licence issued by a Regional Transport Office
Voter Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India
Any other government-issued photo identity card recognized under the Prevention of Money Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Rules 2005

C. Optional Documents

The following documents are optional but recommended:

Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card: PAN card issued by the Income Tax Department. While optional, provision of PAN may expedite verification processes.

Educational Certificates: Copies of degree certificates, diplomas, or other credentials relevant to the applied position.

Curriculum Vitae: Updated professional resume or curriculum vitae detailing educational background, professional experience, publications, and relevant qualifications.

D. Document Standards and Acceptance

All submitted documents must meet the following standards:

Clear, legible, and complete with all relevant information visible
Current and valid (not expired for documents with expiration dates)
Submitted in acceptable file formats: JPEG, PNG, or PDF
File size limitations as specified in the application form
Authentic and unaltered except for required masking of Aadhaar numbers

Ayurveda Pulse reserves the right to reject documents that do not meet these standards and to request alternative documents or additional verification.

E. Voluntary Nature of Document Submission

All applicants acknowledge that document submission is entirely voluntary and is undertaken at the applicant’s own discretion. Applicants who are unwilling or unable to provide the required documents should not proceed with the application process.

VII. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY FRAMEWORK

A. Legal Compliance

Ayurveda Pulse processes all personal data in strict compliance with:

Information Technology Act 2000 and all amendments
Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (DPDP Rules)
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679 where applicable to European Union residents
All other applicable data protection laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions

Digital Personal Data Protection Framework:

In addition to the above frameworks, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (DPDP Rules), which represent India’s comprehensive and modern data protection legislation aligned with international best practices. The DPDP Act establishes rights of Data Principals (individuals whose data is processed), obligations of Data Fiduciaries (entities processing personal data), and a regulatory framework overseen by the Data Protection Board of India.

Through the application process, Ayurveda Pulse collects the following categories of personal data:

C. Legal Basis for Data Processing

Ayurveda Pulse processes personal data under the following legal bases:

Explicit Consent: Applicants provide explicit, informed, and freely given consent for data collection and processing by submitting the application form and accepting all terms outlined herein.

Legitimate Interest: Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of Ayurveda Pulse in verifying applicant identity, maintaining platform security, preventing fraud, and ensuring quality of content and contributors.

Legal Obligation: Certain data processing may be required to comply with applicable legal obligations under Indian law.

D. Data Security Measures

Ayurveda Pulse implements comprehensive technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction:

Technical Measures:

SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
Encrypted storage on secure servers with industry-standard encryption protocols
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Secure backup systems with encryption and access controls
Firewall protection and intrusion detection systems
Malware scanning and protection software

Organizational Measures:

E. Data Retention Periods

Ayurveda Pulse retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law:

Application Data for Rejected Applications: Retained for twelve (12) months from the date of rejection, unless the applicant requests earlier deletion.
Application Data for Accepted Contributors: Retained for the duration of the contributor relationship plus twelve (12) months following termination, unless the contributor requests earlier deletion.
Published Content Metadata: Author names and professional affiliations associated with published content are retained indefinitely as part of the publication record.
Communication Records: Email correspondence and other communications retained for twelve (12) months for customer service and dispute resolution purposes.

Upon expiration of applicable retention periods, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized to prevent identification.

F. Data Subject Rights

All applicants and contributors have the following rights regarding their personal data:

Right of Access: Request confirmation of whether personal data is being processed and obtain access to such data along with information about the processing activities.

Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request deletion of personal data under certain circumstances, including withdrawal of consent, where data is no longer necessary for the purposes collected, or where processing is unlawful.

Right to Restriction of Processing: Request temporary restriction of data processing under certain circumstances.

Right to Data Portability: Receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transmit such data to another controller.

Right to Object: Object to data processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.

Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.

Right to Lodge Complaints: Lodge complaints with relevant data protection authorities, including:

Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In)
Data Protection Board of India (under DPDP Act 2023)

Enhanced Rights Under DPDP Act 2023:

Right to Nominate: Under Section 16 of the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to nominate another individual who may exercise your data principal rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. To exercise this right, contact [email protected] with subject line “Right to Nominate – DPDP Act 2023.”
Right to Use Consent Managers: Once operational, you will have the right to give, manage, review, and withdraw consent through a Consent Manager registered with the Data Protection Board of India under Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023.
Right to Access Privacy Policy in Preferred Language: You have the right to receive this Privacy Policy in any of the 22 languages listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India. Contact [email protected] to request a translation.
Right to Escalate to Data Protection Board: You have the right to file complaints with our Grievance Officer and escalate unresolved complaints to the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise these rights, applicants must contact Ayurveda Pulse using the contact information provided in Section XII of this document.

G. Third-Party Data Sharing

Ayurveda Pulse does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Personal data may be shared with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: Trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform, conducting business operations, or servicing applicants, provided that such parties agree to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate security measures. Such service providers may include email delivery platforms, hosting services, analytics providers, and technical support providers.

Legal Requirements: Where disclosure is required by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ayurveda Pulse, its users, or the public. This includes:

The Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act 2023 in case of data breaches or compliance matters

Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other business transfer involving Nexorma Group, provided that the transferee agrees to honor this privacy framework.

All third-party service providers are bound by contractual obligations to maintain data confidentiality and security and to use personal data only for the purposes specified by Ayurveda Pulse.

G.1 Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach, we shall comply with all applicable breach notification requirements including:

Mandatory reporting to the Data Protection Board of India for ALL breaches under the DPDP Act 2023, regardless of severity
Notification to affected Data Principals when the breach poses a risk to their rights and freedoms
Notification to EU supervisory authorities within 72 hours for GDPR-covered incidents
Reporting to CERT-In as required under Indian cybersecurity incident reporting rules

Penalties under the DPDP Act 2023 for non-compliance with security and breach notification requirements can extend up to INR 250 crores as prescribed under the Act.

H. International Data Transfers

Personal data collected through this application process may be transferred to, processed, and stored in jurisdictions outside the applicant’s country of residence, including India and the United States. By submitting the application, applicants consent to such international transfers.

For transfers of personal data from the European Union to countries not recognized as providing adequate data protection, Ayurveda Pulse implements appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

DPDP Act 2023 Cross-Border Transfers:

Under Section 16 of the DPDP Act 2023, personal data may be transferred outside India only to:

Countries or territories notified by the Central Government as providing adequate level of protection
Entities in other countries where such transfer is subject to Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards approved by the Central Government

We comply with all requirements under the DPDP Act regarding cross-border data transfers and implement appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data.

I. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Ayurveda Pulse website and application forms may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyze website traffic, and improve service quality. Applicants may manage cookie preferences through browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

J. Privacy Policy Incorporation

This data protection framework supplements and incorporates by reference the complete Ayurveda Pulse Privacy Policy available at https://ayurvedapulse.in/privacy-policy/. In the event of any conflict between this section and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall control.

VIII. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FRAMEWORK

A. Acceptance of Terms

Submission of the application form constitutes full acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

These documents collectively form the entire agreement between the applicant and Ayurveda Pulse regarding the application process and any resulting voluntary contributor relationship.

B. Accuracy and Truthfulness of Information

Applicants represent and warrant that all information provided in the application form and all supporting documents are accurate, complete, current, and truthful. Provision of false, misleading, or fraudulent information constitutes material breach of these terms and grounds for immediate rejection or termination.

Applicants agree to promptly notify Ayurveda Pulse of any changes to information provided in the application, including changes to contact information, professional status, or qualifications.

C. Acceptable Use Standards

All applicants and contributors agree to use the Ayurveda Pulse platform for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

Uploading, posting, or transmitting any content that is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy, abusive, threatening, harassing, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting affiliation with any person or entity
Uploading, posting, or transmitting any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party
Uploading, posting, or transmitting any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, spam, or any other form of solicitation
Uploading, posting, or transmitting any material that contains software viruses, malware, or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit functionality
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to platform systems, servers, or user data through hacking, password mining, or other means
Interfering with or disrupting platform services or servers or networks connected to the platform
Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation

D. Medical and Professional Disclaimers

Ayurveda Pulse is an informational and educational platform. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content published on the platform is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Contributors acknowledge that:

Ayurveda Pulse is not a peer-reviewed academic journal
Content published does not constitute professional medical recommendations
Readers should consult qualified healthcare providers for medical concerns
Ayurvedic practices and principles may vary among different schools of thought
Information accuracy, while pursued, is not guaranteed

Contributors agree not to provide content that could reasonably be construed as medical advice for individual cases or that recommends specific treatments without appropriate disclaimers.

E. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ayurveda Pulse, Nexorma Group, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the application process, contributor relationship, or use of the platform.

This limitation includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if Ayurveda Pulse has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Total aggregate liability of Ayurveda Pulse for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the contributor relationship shall not exceed the amount of zero Indian Rupees (₹0), reflecting the non-remunerative nature of the relationship.

F. Indemnification and Hold Harmless

Applicants and contributors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ayurveda Pulse, Nexorma Group, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or relating to:

Breach of these terms or any representation or warranty contained herein
Violation of any applicable law or regulation
Violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or confidentiality obligations
Any content submitted by the applicant or contributor
Any negligent or wrongful conduct by the applicant or contributor

This indemnification obligation survives termination of the contributor relationship.

G. Modification of Terms

Ayurveda Pulse reserves the right to modify, update, amend, or replace these terms and conditions at any time at its sole discretion. Material changes shall be communicated to accepted contributors through email or platform notifications.

Continued participation as a contributor following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Contributors who do not agree to modified terms may terminate the voluntary relationship by providing written notice to Ayurveda Pulse.

H. Suspension and Termination

Ayurveda Pulse reserves the absolute and unconditional right to suspend or terminate any application or contributor relationship immediately, without prior notice, without providing reasons or justification, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to:

Violation of these terms or applicable policies
Provision of false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Suspected or actual plagiarism or academic misconduct
Behavior deemed inappropriate, unprofessional, or harmful to platform reputation
Legal, security, or safety concerns
Operational or editorial decisions
Failure to meet quality standards or deadlines
Inactivity or lack of engagement
Any conduct that Ayurveda Pulse deems, in its sole discretion, to be detrimental to platform interests

Contributors wishing to terminate their voluntary association must comply strictly with the notice requirements specified in Section II.C. Failure to provide mandatory fourteen (14) days written notice via email to [email protected] shall constitute material breach and shall result in:

Contributors shall have no right to appeal, challenge, or dispute any termination decision made by Ayurveda Pulse. All termination decisions are final, binding, and not subject to review or reconsideration.

No termination shall give rise to any claims for compensation or damages on the part of contributors.

I. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such finding shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.

J. Waiver

Failure or delay by Ayurveda Pulse to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such provision or any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Ayurveda Pulse.

K. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between the applicant or contributor and Ayurveda Pulse regarding the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, negotiations, or discussions, whether written or oral.

L. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the contributor relationship shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Uttarakhand, India for resolution of any disputes, claims, or controversies. Each party irrevocably waives any objection to venue in such courts and any claim that such courts are an inconvenient forum.

M. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt resolution of disputes through good-faith negotiations. Either party may initiate such negotiations by providing written notice to the other party describing the dispute.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations within thirty (30) days of such notice, either party may pursue available legal remedies in accordance with the governing law and jurisdiction provisions above.

IX. APPLICATION PROCESS AND REVIEW

A. Application Submission

Prospective contributors must complete the online application form in its entirety, providing all required information and uploading all required documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application forms are submitted through Google Forms infrastructure. By submitting the form, applicants agree to Google’s Terms of Service and acknowledge that form data is processed through Google’s systems subject to Google’s privacy policies.

B. Initial Review

All applications undergo initial review for completeness and basic eligibility requirements. This review typically occurs within five (5) to seven (7) business days of submission. Applications that do not meet minimum requirements or that contain false information will be rejected at this stage.

C. Document Verification

Applications that pass initial review undergo document verification, including:

Verification of identity document authenticity
Cross-reference of information across multiple documents
Confirmation of educational credentials where applicable
Professional background verification where appropriate

D. Editorial and Skills Assessment

E. Final Decision

Final acceptance decisions rest solely with Ayurveda Pulse editorial management. All decisions are final and not subject to appeal. Ayurveda Pulse is under no obligation to provide detailed reasons for rejection decisions.

F. Notification of Decision

Applicants will be notified of application decisions via email to the address provided in the application form. Accepted applicants will receive onboarding information and role assignment details. Rejected applicants will receive brief notification of rejection without detailed explanation.

G. Waiting Period for Reapplication

Applicants whose applications are rejected may reapply after six (6) months from the date of rejection notification. Reapplications submitted prior to this waiting period will not be considered.

X. OBLIGATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS OF ACCEPTED CONTRIBUTORS

A. Professional Standards

Accepted contributors are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, including:

Timely response to editorial communications
Adherence to submission deadlines and commitments
Professional and respectful communication with editorial staff and other contributors
Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct
Compliance with all platform policies and editorial guidelines

B. Content Quality and Standards

Contributors must adhere to Ayurveda Pulse editorial standards, including:

Originality and authenticity of all submitted work
Accuracy of factual claims and proper citation of sources
Clarity and accessibility of writing for target audience
Adherence to platform style guide and formatting requirements
Integration of constructive editorial feedback

C. Confidentiality

Contributors may have access to unpublished content, editorial plans, or other confidential information. Contributors agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding such information and not to disclose or use it for any purpose other than their contributor role.

D. Platform Representation

Contributors acknowledge that their published work reflects on the reputation and credibility of Ayurveda Pulse. Contributors agree not to engage in conduct, whether related to the platform or in their personal capacity, that could reasonably harm the reputation or credibility of Ayurveda Pulse.

E. Continued Eligibility

Contributors must promptly notify Ayurveda Pulse of any changes in circumstances that may affect eligibility, including changes in employment, professional licenses, or legal status.

F. Consequences of Improper Termination by Contributors

Contributors who terminate their association without providing the mandatory fourteen (14) days written notice as required under Section II.C shall be subject to the following consequences:

Immediate Consequences:

Immediate and permanent removal of contributor name, bio, and attribution from all published articles
Revocation of all permissions to reference, cite, or claim association with published work
Permanent ban from reapplication to any Ayurveda Pulse contributor positions
Blacklisting from consideration for any future opportunities with Ayurveda Pulse or affiliated entities

Legal Consequences:

Ayurveda Pulse reserves the right to pursue legal action for breach of contract
Contributors may be held liable for damages including but not limited to: disruption costs, editorial workflow disruption, replacement contributor search costs, and reputational harm
Contributors may be required to compensate Ayurveda Pulse for any third-party claims arising from abrupt departure
Legal costs and attorney fees incurred by Ayurveda Pulse in enforcing these terms shall be borne by the breaching contributor

Professional Consequences:

Ayurveda Pulse reserves the right to notify relevant professional organizations, academic institutions, and industry networks of the breach
Negative references may be provided to future employers or organizations upon request
Details of improper termination may be shared with other publications or platforms within the Ayurveda and wellness content network

No Exceptions: These consequences apply regardless of contributor’s reasons for departure, personal circumstances, or justifications. The mandatory notice requirement is absolute and non-waivable.

Contributors who fail to complete pending work commitments or who abandon work in progress shall be subject to additional penalties as determined by Ayurveda Pulse in its sole discretion.

XI. MANDATORY DECLARATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

All applicants must make the following declarations and acknowledgments as a condition of application submission:

A. Declaration of Voluntary Nature

The applicant declares and acknowledges that the association with Ayurveda Pulse is entirely voluntary, honorary, and non-remunerative. The applicant understands and agrees that this engagement does not create any form of employment, contractual obligation, partnership, agency, or employer-employee relationship.

The applicant acknowledges that there will be no entitlement to salary, wages, benefits, allowances, Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance Corporation contributions, gratuity, or any other form of financial compensation or employment benefits.

B. Declaration of Information Accuracy

The applicant declares that all information and documents provided in the application are accurate, complete, truthful, and voluntarily submitted for identity verification and eligibility assessment purposes.

C. Release from Legal Claims

The applicant releases and forever discharges Ayurveda Pulse, Nexorma Group, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all present or future legal, financial, or employment-related claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of or relating to this voluntary engagement.

D. Acknowledgment of Platform Policies

The applicant acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to abide by all platform policies, including:

E. Consent to Data Collection and Processing

The applicant consents to the collection, processing, storage, and use of personal data as described in Section VII (Data Protection and Privacy Framework) and the Privacy Policy including compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The applicant acknowledges that:

They understand their rights as a Data Principal under the DPDP Act 2023
They have the right to nominate another individual to exercise their rights in case of death or incapacity
They may access Consent Managers (when operational) to manage data processing consents
They may request this Privacy Policy in any of the 22 constitutional languages of India
They may escalate complaints to the Data Protection Board of India
Identity documents are being voluntarily submitted and will be stored securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws including the DPDP Act 2023

F. Acknowledgment of Age and Legal Capacity

The applicant declares that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age or have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction and possess full legal capacity to enter into this voluntary engagement.

G. Acknowledgment of Termination Rights

The applicant acknowledges and agrees that this voluntary engagement may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause, subject to strict compliance with the following terms:

The applicant agrees to provide mandatory written notice via registered email to [email protected] at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to termination, including all required information as specified in Section II.C.

The applicant expressly acknowledges and accepts that failure to provide proper notice constitutes material breach resulting in: (i) immediate removal of all contributor credits and attributions, (ii) permanent ineligibility for future positions, (iii) forfeiture of portfolio reference rights, and (iv) potential legal liability for damages.

The applicant acknowledges and accepts that Ayurveda Pulse may terminate the relationship immediately, without prior notice, without providing reasons, via any communication method, and that such termination decisions are absolute, final, non-appealable, and not subject to challenge or review.

The applicant expressly waives any right to question, challenge, appeal, or dispute any termination decision made by Ayurveda Pulse.

The applicant acknowledges that no termination shall give rise to any claims for compensation or damages against Ayurveda Pulse, and that all legal remedies for improper contributor-initiated termination remain reserved to Ayurveda Pulse.

H. Understanding of Intellectual Property Terms

For content contributor positions, the applicant acknowledges and agrees that all copyright and intellectual property rights in published content will be irrevocably assigned to Ayurveda Pulse as set forth in Section V (Intellectual Property and Content Submission Terms).

I. Acknowledgment of Non-Medical Advisory Role

The applicant acknowledges that Ayurveda Pulse is an informational platform that does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and agrees not to provide content that could be reasonably construed as individualized medical recommendations.

J. Agreement to Indemnify

The applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ayurveda Pulse and Nexorma Group from any claims arising from the applicant’s submissions, conduct, or breach of these terms.

F. No Assignment

Applicants and contributors may not assign, transfer, or delegate any rights or obligations under these terms without prior written consent of Ayurveda Pulse. Ayurveda Pulse may freely assign these terms in connection with any merger, acquisition, or business transfer.

G. Notices

All notices required or permitted under these terms must be in writing and delivered via email to the addresses specified in Section XII.

Mandatory Contributor Termination Notice Requirements: Contributors must send termination notices strictly via registered email to [email protected] with delivery confirmation and read receipt. The notice must be sent from the contributor’s registered email address and must contain all information specified in Section II.C. The fourteen (14) day notice period commences only upon confirmed receipt and acknowledgment by Ayurveda Pulse. Notices sent from unregistered email addresses or lacking required information shall be deemed invalid and non-compliant.

Ayurveda Pulse Termination Authority: Ayurveda Pulse termination notices to contributors may be sent via any method including email, platform notification, SMS, or access revocation, without requirement for advance notice, without requirement for delivery confirmation, and without obligation to provide reasons. Termination is effective immediately upon dispatch by Ayurveda Pulse regardless of actual receipt by contributor.

Contributors acknowledge that termination via access revocation (removal of platform login credentials) constitutes valid and binding notice of termination.

Notices from contributors are deemed delivered only upon express written acknowledgment of receipt by Ayurveda Pulse. Notices from Ayurveda Pulse are deemed delivered immediately upon sending.

H. Independent Contractors

The parties are independent contractors. Nothing in these terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties.

XIV. APPLICATION FORM STRUCTURE AND REQUIREMENTS

A. Employment Status Clarification

Question: Does this position create any employment relationship?

Answer: No. This is explicitly a voluntary, honorary, non-remunerative position that does not create any employer-employee relationship under any applicable employment law, including the Industrial Disputes Act 1947, Shops and Establishments Acts, or any other labor legislation. There are no employment benefits, statutory obligations, or employment-related entitlements.

B. Tax Implications

Question: Are there any tax implications for contributors?

Answer: Since this is a non-remunerative position with no financial compensation, there are generally no tax implications for contributors. However, contributors are advised to consult with their own tax advisors regarding any potential tax considerations in their specific circumstances. Ayurveda Pulse does not provide tax advice and assumes no responsibility for contributors’ tax obligations.

C. Intellectual Property Rights

Question: Can contributors retain any rights to their published work?

Answer: Upon publication, all copyright and intellectual property rights are irrevocably assigned to Ayurveda Pulse. Contributors may reference their published work for non-commercial portfolio purposes with proper attribution but may not republish the full text elsewhere without express written permission.

D. Liability for Content Accuracy

Question: Who is liable if published content contains errors?

Answer: While Ayurveda Pulse conducts editorial review of all content, contributors retain responsibility for the accuracy of information they submit. The indemnification provisions in Section VIII.F apply to contributor-submitted content. Contributors should exercise diligence in verifying all factual claims and properly citing sources.

E. Data Security Concerns

Question: How secure is submitted personal data and documentation?

Answer: Ayurveda Pulse implements comprehensive technical and organizational security measures as detailed in Section VII.D, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system is entirely immune from security risks. Applicants submit information voluntarily and at their own discretion.

F. Withdrawal of Application

Question: Can applicants withdraw their application after submission?

Answer: Yes, however applicants must provide written notice via registered email to [email protected]. Upon receipt of withdrawal notice, the application will be removed from active consideration. Applicants who withdraw applications after initial document verification may be subject to a mandatory six (6) month waiting period before reapplication eligibility. Applicants who withdraw after acceptance notification may be permanently barred from future applications. All submitted documents and personal data remain subject to retention policies outlined in Section VII.E regardless of withdrawal. Withdrawal does not entitle applicants to immediate data deletion if legal retention requirements apply.

G. Dispute Resolution

Question: What recourse do applicants have for disputes?

Answer: The dispute resolution provisions in Section VIII.M apply. Parties should first attempt good-faith negotiations. If negotiations are unsuccessful, disputes are subject to the governing law and jurisdiction provisions in Section VIII.L, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Uttarakhand, India.

C. Notification of Changes

Material changes to this document will be communicated to active contributors via email. Applicants with pending applications at the time of changes will be notified and given opportunity to review updated terms before final decision.

D. Continued Application

Submission of an application constitutes acceptance of the terms in effect at the time of submission. Subsequent changes do not retroactively affect previously submitted applications unless the applicant explicitly agrees to updated terms.

XXI. APPENDIX: IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS

For purposes of this document, the following terms have the meanings specified:

“Applicant” means any individual who submits an application through the volunteer contributor onboarding process.

“Contributor” means any individual whose application has been accepted and who maintains an active voluntary association with Ayurveda Pulse.

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined under applicable data protection laws.

“Sensitive Personal Data” means personal data requiring special protection under applicable laws, including identity documents, biometric information, and other categories specified in the IT Rules 2011.

“Platform” means the Ayurveda Pulse website, newsletter, and all related digital services and properties.

“Published Content” means any article, case study, research summary, image, graphic, or other material created by a contributor and published on the Ayurveda Pulse platform.

“Business Days” means Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays recognized in Uttarakhand, India.

“Intellectual Property” means all copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and other proprietary rights.

“Third Party” means any individual or entity other than the applicant, contributor, and Ayurveda Pulse.

“Voluntary Association” means the non-remunerative, honorary relationship between an accepted contributor and Ayurveda Pulse that does not constitute employment or contractual obligation.

“Data Fiduciary” means any person who alone or in conjunction with other persons determines the purpose and means of processing of personal data. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Ayurveda Pulse operates as a Data Fiduciary.

“Data Principal” means the individual to whom the personal data relates. Under the DPDP Act 2023, you (the applicant) are the Data Principal with respect to your personal data processed by us.

“Data Protection Board” or “Data Protection Board of India” means the regulatory authority established under Section 18 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with data protection laws.

“Consent Manager” means an entity registered with the Data Protection Board of India under Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023 that enables Data Principals to give, manage, review, and withdraw consent for the processing of their personal data.

“DPDP Act” means the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, India’s comprehensive data protection legislation.

“DPDP Rules” means the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, notified on January 3, 2025.

By proceeding to complete and submit the application form, the applicant acknowledges and confirms:

The applicant has carefully read this entire document in its entirety
The applicant understands all terms, conditions, rights, obligations, and legal implications described herein
The applicant has had adequate opportunity to seek independent legal advice regarding these terms
The applicant voluntarily agrees to all terms without duress or undue influence
The applicant understands that submission of the application constitutes legally binding acceptance of all terms
The applicant acknowledges that Ayurveda Pulse has made no representations or promises beyond those explicitly stated in this document
The applicant understands the voluntary, non-remunerative, and non-employment nature of the relationship
The applicant agrees to the intellectual property assignment terms for content positions
The applicant consents to data collection, processing, and storage as described, including compliance with DPDP Act 2023
The applicant understands their rights as a Data Principal under DPDP Act 2023
The applicant releases Ayurveda Pulse and Nexorma Group from all present and future claims related to this voluntary association
